My First Demo

So, for my certification class we have to make a workout demo.
My first issue, what in the name of all that is holy is that supposed to mean?
We had to pick songs with a constant beat and design our own workout to them and they have to be at least 10 minutes long. So instead of making my own, I asked if it was okay if I took songs from Less Mills Body Combat and it was. So I taught my very first intro to combat class.
The rush was beyond words, I was nervous but excited. I knew what I was doing but at the same time my mind was going blank. Giving safety cues, watching form, keeping with the beat, and making sure I had the right songs. These were my main worries. I stepped up in front of that class and I let the fire inside out. Before I knew it, my demo was over.
It went so well. I could have yelled louder and said my cues better but all that matters is that I actually made it through without freaking out.

Spring Break comes to an end

Spring break is over but I'm pretty sure I had more fun than anyone else did.  Seeing my best friend, being lazy, and sleeping? Best spring break ever.
I didn't have to worry about going to the gym or finishing any assignments on time. Just a week to relax.
It was something I really needed. I needed to get away from the chaos that is Montclair.
I didn't party or do anything illegal, that's not my thing. I literally slept and ate because that's what's more important to me.
I don't care what anyone says.
I just can't wait until summer when I can see my friends everyday, not just for a week.

Spring Break!

Spring break is next week!
I'm excited because I get to go to South Jersey with an friend I haven't seen in a while. Not only do I get to see him but I get to actually hang out with my friends from school off of Montclair's campus. I have no assignments and I get to relax for a week. I don't have to worry about going to the gym or waking up for class. This is a much needed break. It'll be hard coming back and readjusting but it will definitely be worth it.

The best part about it is that my parents don't mind me not coming home. They know there's no reason for me to come home since they come see me every other weekend and I call and text them everyday.

While being in South Jersey I will probably still practice Body Combat since I don't need any equipment for it. I plan on going to the beach, catching up on sleep, and just relaxing.

6 days can't go by faster.
